# Implementation traces

`/api/v1` operations for implementation traces. See [HTTP API](/api/) for authentication, the error envelope, and rate limits.

## Operations

### GET /api/v1/traces/search

Search implementation traces

Hybrid semantic + full-text search over the organization's implementation traces, reranked for relevance. Returns the best passage from each matching conversation, with its thread id, title, project, tool, branch, actor, start day, and a relevance score. Requires the developer role.

Auth: API key required.

Operation ID: `searchImplementationTraces`

Query parameters:
- `q` (string, required)
- `k` (integer, optional)

Responses:
- `200` — Ranked passages, most relevant first.
- `400` — The request was malformed or failed validation.
- `401` — Authentication is missing or invalid.
- `403` — The caller is not permitted to perform this action.
- `429` — Too many requests; retry after the indicated delay.
